Trendnet’s new offerings include three N routers, a green Gigabit switch and megapixel PoE IP camera.
The routers are the TEW-673GRU 300Mbps Concurrent Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router, TEW-651BR 150Mbps Wireless N Home Router and TEW-655BR3G 150Mbps Mobile Wireless N Router.
The TEW-673GRU‘s design is similar to NETGEAR’s popular WNDR3700 and D-Link’s DIR-825 B1, using Atheros’ XSPAN AR9002AP platform, with AR9220 and AR9223 XSPAN dual-band radio chipset and 680MHz AR7161 wireless network processor. Other features include Gigabit WAN and LAN ports, color LCD and USB device sharing (via two USB 2.0 ports).
The TEW-651BR and TEW-655BR3G both feature single-stream 2.4 GHz 802.11n radios in routers with 10/100 WAN and LAN ports. The latter can accept WWAN USB modems and has a rechargeable and replaceable 1.5 hour lithium ion battery.
The TEW-673GRU, will be available next month at an MSRP of $149.99. The TEW-651BR is shipping this month for $39.99 MSRP and the TEW-655BR3G in "early April" for $99.99.
The TEG-S80Dg 8-Port Gigabit GREENnet Switch features TRENDnet’s embedded power saving GREENnet technology, which supplies the appropriate amount of power to each port as required by the connected device, by the port, or by the length of the connected Ethernet cable.
The switch supports jumbo frames, comes with a five year limited warranty and will be available this month for $49.99 MSRP.
The TV-IP522P ProView Megapixel PoE Internet Camera supports up to 1280 x 960 SXVGA resolution, can manage up to four video profiles, record megapixel H.264 quality video while simultaneously streaming content to a compatible 3GPP mobile phone and can be powered directly or via 802.11af Power over Ethernet.
Features include Samba client support, motion detection recording, email alerts, scheduled recording sessions, H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG image compression, 2-way audio, input/output ports, a removable CS mount lens, 16x digital zoom, four video profiles, and a built-in SD card slot to store video directly to a memory card. The camera’s extruded aluminum housing has top and bottom mounting points and it comes with a wall/ceiling mounting kit.
The TV-IP522P, will ship in "early March" with an MSRP of $249.99.
