TRENDnet adds Multi-Function Print Server trio

TRENDnet today announced three printservers for USB multi-function printers.

The TE100-MP1U 1-Port USB Multi-Function Print Server, TE100-MP2U 2-Port USB 2.0 Multi-Function Print Server and TEW-MP2U 2-Port Wireless USB Multi-Function Print Server support printing from Windows XP, 2000, 2003 Server and Vista operating systems.

The wireless model connects to 802.11b/g wireless networks and supports 64/128-Bit WEP encryption & WPA-PSK security. The two-port models support network access for USB storage devices such as hard drives, flash drives and memory card readers.

All three models are available now. Estimated street prices are $60, $81 and $108 for the 1 port, 2 port and 2 port plus wireless.

First Certifications announced for Wireless USB Products

D-Link and Iogear have both announced certification for their first Wireless USB products.

D-Link's DUB-2240 4-port Wireless USB Hub and DUB-1210 Wireless USB adapter, and Iogear's Wireless USB Hub & Adapter Kit have both received Certification against the Wireless USB 1.0 Specification by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF).
