SMC adds small-biz VPN router

The router has a built-in VPN server supporting a total of 50 PPTP and IPsec tunnels. The four 10/100 Ethernet ports include dual load-balancing WAN ports, dedicated DMZ port and single LAN port.

Other features include SPI+NAT firewall, IP / Port / MAC Address / URL Filtering, email alerts and SNMP and web-based management.

The SMCBR21VPN is available now at an MSRP of $449.99.

Netgear today announced the expansion of its stackable "Smart Switch" line with the launch of the ProSafe 24- and 48-Port Gigabit Stackable Smart Switches (GS724TS and GS748TS).

The ProSafe Gigabit Stackable Smart Switches have 24 or 48 10/100/1000 ports and four shared SFP Gigabit Ethernet fiber ports, plus two dedicated stacking ports.
