The company plans to integrate Colubris’ product line, which includes draft 802.11n-based products, into its ProCurve Networking product portfolio.

Red Herring reports that Colubris had been looking to be acquired since Aruba Networks went public last year and had hired an "exit specialist" to look for potential buyers.

The acquisition is expected to close by the end of HP’s fiscal year 2008.
