The weatherproof MR58 can withstand environments ranging from -4 to 122° F and can be mounted in a wide range of locations, including walls and poles.

The MR58 provides higher capacity and speed than standard 802.11b/g wireless devices and is designed to provide wireless access for large outdoor areas such as campuses, apartment complexes, hotels and resorts.

It also supports multiple hops and long distance links and includes the premium networking features of Meraki’s cloud-based Hosted Services, such as centralized configuration, monitoring and security.

The Meraki MR58 is available now. The base unit without antennas is priced at $1499. A bundle including the base, a pair of 5/7 dBi omni-directional antennas for each of the three radios and a 802.3af PoE injector sells for $1875.
