The N7700SAS is based on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2 GB of DDR2 memory. Drives can be configured into multiple RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and JBOD volumes and online RAID expansion and migration are supported.

Other features include XFS, EXT3 and ZFS filesystem support (per volume), iSCSI initiator, multiple iSCSI targets and Thecus’ standard feature set that includes media servers, backup and LAMP webserving.

The N7700SAS will be available in mid-July for $1300 MSRP.
