Ubicom and Ralink have created reference designs for networked music players.

These turnkey reference designs combine Ubicom’s IP7500 family of 32-bit processors and Ralink’s RT3070 802.11-b/g/n chipset.

The Wi-Fi DLNA Audio Player is suitable for AVRs, Mini-Micro systems, wireless Audio clients, iPod docks, and wireless speakers.

The Internet Audio Player can play online streaming services like Pandora and Shoutcast.

Both reference designs are available now and are being demoed this week at CES.
