D-Link Shipping WiDi Adapter

D-Link has announced an Intel Wireless Display adapter.

The "Mainstage" DHD-131 TV Adapter for Intel Wireless Display shares the screen of an Intel Core processor-based notebook on a TV using Intel’s proprietary WiDi technology. Wireless connection is via 2.4 or 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n.

The adapter connects to a TV or display via HDMI or composite video. Audio outputs include SPDIF digital and stereo analog. Resolutions up to 1080p @ 30 fps and 5.1 surround are supported, but only with compatible content and hardware.

The DHD-131 is available now for an MSRP of $129.99.

D-Link adds $100 network camera

D-Link yesterday announced two low-cost wired and wireless network cameras that will retail for around $100.

The D-Link DCS-920 Wireless G Network Camera and DCS-910 10/100 Fast Ethernet Internet Camera can be accessed and controlled using any Java-enabled browser and take snapshots and record directly from the Web browser to a local hard drive.
