WD has released 4 TB Enterprise-class nearline SAS and SATA drives.
The highest capacity 3.5" WD RE SAS and SATA drives are available immediately.
The WD RE line now includes 1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB and 4 TB capacities for nearline SAS and 2 TB, 3 TB and 4 TB for SATA.
Features of the new WD RE SAS and WD RE SATA hard drives include:
- Dual port, full duplex connectivity
- 1.4M hours MTBF SAS/ 1.2M hours MTBF SATA
- High Reliability: 5-disk platform, 800 GB per platter
