According to Nicole Scott of Netbook News, the confusion surrounding the PlayBook tethering issue can be attributed to a misunderstanding over the nature of RIMs BlackBerrys Bridge.
Bridge allows PlayBook users to easily access (BlackBerry) email, calendar and contacts. However, this is obviously very different than tethering.
