Logitech Expands Harmony Smart Home Features

Logitech logoLogitech has released new firmware to improve smart home control.

The upgrade bring improved smart home control features to all Harmony hub compatible products, including Logitech Harmony Ultimate, the Logitech Harmony Smart Control and Logitech Harmony Smart Keyboard.

The opt-in firmware upgrade revamps Harmony remote screens with a new user interface. It also adds the ability to control more devices via SmartThings or peq hubs, Lutron Caseta lights and Serena window shades. The upgrade also adds the ability to view Nest Protect smoke and CO alarm status, adjust Honewell Wi-Fi thermostats and IFTTT integration.

The update also add scheduled activities and remote access via smartphone or tablet. The free update is available now.
