NETGEAR logoNETGEAR has announced a cloud-based IT management service.

Business Central is a secure, cloud-based IT service platform designed to provide SMBs with an "affordable" way to establish, provision and manage key IT networking services and network devices.

The first service is the Business Central Wireless Manager for centrally managing distributed wireless networks. The service can manage single or multiple NETGEAR ProSAFE WiFi access points per site, or "hundreds or thousands" of access points across multiple sites.

Business Central Wireless Manager operates via standard web browsers. Functions include managing wireless SSIDs, configuring wireless security settings, controlling free or fee-paying guest and private WiFi access on the network and running bandwidth usage reports.
