The TEW-821DAP AC1200 Dual Band PoE Access Point is a simultaneous dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac access point supporting maximum link rates of 300 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps in 5 GHz when used with devices supporting those rates. Network connection is via a single 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port, which also can power the unit via 802.3af Power over Ethernet. A 12 VDC port and included power supply can also power the AP.

The product can be configured in AP, Client, WDS, and Repeater modes and supports band steering to move clients to 5 GHz to reduce 2.4 GHz band congestion. A free Windows-based software controller manages multiple TEW-821DAPs.
