AVG has announced a new cloud storage product that combines good security practices with cloud storage.

Cloud storage in general tends to leave people with questions such as “Where is my data going?” and “Is my data stored securely?”. Eventually it comes down to researching the various providers and how much you trust them. AVG is banking on the trust that they’ve developed in the free antivirus market to carry LiveKive.

LiveKive will be available next week as a beta. Users will get 5 GB of free storage, according to the AVG Product Blog and will offer synchronization features as well

We will be adding LiveKive to our review queue, and will let you know when LiveKive becomes available to try out.
