First Certifications announced for Wireless USB Products
D-Link and Iogear have both announced certification for their first Wireless USB products.
D-Link's DUB-2240 4-port Wireless USB Hub and DUB-1210 Wireless USB adapter, and Iogear's Wireless USB Hub & Adapter Kit have both received Certification against the Wireless USB 1.0 Specification by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF).

HELIOS Software today released a free download of a modified Yellow Dog Linux (YDL) distribution, optimized to use Sony's Playstation 3 as a test-drive server.
The distro is offered under basic agreement with Terra Soft Solutions, the developer of YDL. HELIOS prepared the distro primarily to provide a test-drive platform for its file, print, PDF and image server software.

Dell and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will host an Earth Day computer recycling event for consumers in the Washington metropolitan area on Sunday, April 22. The free event is part of Dell’s commitment to educating consumers about responsible computer recycling options and keeping information technology equipment out of landfills.
Washington, D.C.-area residents can recycle any brand computer, monitor, printer and other computer equipment by dropping off the items at the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the event site at 13th and E Streets, N.W.
