VTech announces Internet-browsing and Wi-Fi phones
VTech today announced two multi-handset cordless phone systems with Internet access features. One is DECT 6.0 based, the other connects via Wi-Fi.
BitTorrent Acquires µTorrent
BitTorrent today announced it has acquired µTorrent, a lightweight and efficient implementation of the BitTorrent protocol. The objective is to combine BitTorrent’s expertise in networking protocols with µTorrent’s high-performance design and compelling user interface (UI).
Following the acquisition, patented content delivery innovations made by BitTorrent will be integrated in the µTorrent client in a "seamless" manner. Ultimately, the integration of best-of-breed BitTorrent technology will result in an improved client and an "enhanced user experience".

StayOnline, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is a leading provider of high-speed Internet access solutions focused on the lodging industry.
AOL announces AIM 6.0
AOL today announced the launch of its new AIM 6.0 service. The new AIM service offers users a variety of new instant messaging features, such as offline messaging and conversation logging, as well as deeper integration with AIM Pages, AOL’s social networking service.
