Cloud Engines Reveals Next-gen Pogoplug

Second Generation PogoplugCloud Engines today unveiled the second generation of its Pogoplug cloud-connected drive sharing device.

The new Pogoplug box supports up to four USB 2.0 drives with NTFS, FAT32, Max OS Extended Journaled and non-Journaled (HFS+) and EXT-2/EXT-3 formats.

New features include automatic content synchronization with Windows or Mac OS to automatically import new content from iTunes, Windows Media Player, and iPhoto, drag-and-drop slideshow creation and global search across multiple drives and Pogoplug devices.

Pre-orders are being accepted now ($129 MSRP) with orders to ship "before the end of the year".
