QNAP Announces Atom D410 NASes

QNAP today announced dual and quad-bay NASes using Intel’s D410 Atom CPU.

The TS-239 Pro II and TS-439 Pro II are mid-range products aimed at business users. Both NASes have 1 GB of DDRII RAM and 512 MB flash DOM, dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, five USB 2.0 and two eSATA ports for expansion and attached backup.

Features include hot-swappable trays supporting 2.5" or 3.5" SATA drives (2TB drives supported) configurable in RAID 0/1/5/6/5+ spare, and JBOD, with online RAID capacity expansion and online RAID level migration.

The new NASes runs QNAP’s AJAX-based V3.2 OS and support the same wide range of features as QNAP’s other NASes including iSCSI target, UPnP / DLNA / iTunes media serving, scheduled attached and networked backup, AFP, NFS, FTP and HTTP network services and SSH root access.

The TS-239 Pro II and TS-439 Pro II are shipping now at MSRP’s of $559 and $889.
