The DCS-910 has an Ethernet only network connection (10/100), while the DCS-920 has both Ethernet and 802.11b/g wireless network connection options.
The cameras can also be configured to detect motion, send email alerts when motion is triggered and record to a computer on the home network or attached storage devices for detailed video monitoring and playback.
MJPEG video and JPEG still image formats are supported with resolutions of up to 10fps at 160×120, up to 15fps at 640×480 and up to 30fps at 320×240. Both cameras have a fixed focus 4.57mm, F1.9 lens and VGA 1/4" CMOS sensor with 1.0 Lux sensitivity. The DCS-920 supports WEP, WPA and WPA2 wireless security.
D-ViewCam2.0 software is included with both cameras to enable the simultaneous viewing of up to 32 cameras with a wide range of remote control features from a computer running Windows XP or Vista
