All three cameras have 10/100 Ethernet ports with 802.3af PoE and support simultaneous streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG video. They also have digital input and output ports for external devices such as IR sensors, switches and alarm relays, RS-485 interfaces for optional Pan/Tilt enclosures and 12V interfaces for powering optional LED illuminators.
Other common features include 3GPP Mobile Surveillance support, built-in microphones and audio ports for 2-way audio communication (external speaker not included) and built-in Samba client for direct storage to NAS.
Management is via D-Link D-ViewCam 2.0 software that lets users manage up to 32 network cameras, set e-mail alert notifications, set recording schedules, and trigger motion detection to record directly to a hard drive.
The DCS-3110 Day & Night Megapixel Camera has a 1.3-megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor and 6-millimeter lens (interchangeable with aftermarket lenses) for capturing a wider field of view with resolution up to 1280 x 1024. A built-in ICR filter provides automatic day/night functionality.
The DCS-3410 Day & Night Camera with CCD sensor features 0.3 Lux light sensitivity for capturing video in environments with little or no light. It can accept optional CS mount standard lenses, such as auto-iris and IR LED lenses or a night vision illuminator.
The DCS-3415 Day & Night Camera with 18x optical zoom is equipped with an 18x optical zoom lens and progressive scan CCD sensor to capture moving objects with reduced motion blur and jagged edges.
