Iogear adds PC / KVM remote access appliance
IOGEAR today announced a self-contained remote access appliance for PC's and KVMs.
The PCPortal connects between a display and USB keyboard and mouse and the display and USB port on a computer or KVM server. No software is required on the computer or KVM and both Windows and Linux-based OSes are supported.
Lantronix announces ‘zero footprint’ KVM over IP product
Lantronix today announced the SecureLinx Spider—a "cable-friendly", single port, KVM to IP converter small enough to be held in one hand.
The SecureLinx Spider is a “Distributed KVM” solution that allows administrators to easily add incremental ports as their needs require. It is a completely self-contained solution including an ARM-based processor, on-board memory (Flash, Video and CPU SDRAM), secure operating system, web server, video encoder, and embedded Ethernet switch with built-in support for Virtual Media.
