TP-LINK Unveils MU-MIMO Router

Ruckus Wireless logoTP-LINK has released its first AC2600 class router.

The Archer C2600 AC2600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router is a Qualcomm Atheros based 4×4 MU-MIMO enabled AC2600 class router supporting maximum link rates of 800 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps in 5 GHz when used with devices capable of supporting those rates.

It has a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, dual USB 3.0 ports supporting storage and printer sharing, four external dual-band detachable antennas and Gigabit WAN (1) and switched LAN (4) ports.

Features include Bandwidth-based QoS, Parental controls, UPnP / DLNA media server and wireless guest network support.

A companion TP-LINK Tether app enables easy remote router management from iOS and Android mobile devices.

The Archer C2600 has an MSRP of $249.99 and is initially exclusively available via Newegg. It will be available at the TP-LINK store and other major retailers later this month.
